Volunteer
We are always looking for volunteers to assist with things like habitat restoration, clean-up, planting, and research collection. To participate, send us an email and let us know what you’re interested in.

When you become a member of the Hawai‘i Audubon Society, you are joining a group that is passionate about the conservation of native wildlife and ecosystems in Hawai‘i and the Pacific.
Educators
We have added various lessons to this site that will allow your students to explore the preserve and learn more about the Wedge-tailed Shearwater.

The Freeman Seabird Preserve is on private property in a gated community.
All visitors must be accompanied by a representative of the Hawai‘i Audubon Society. Please email the HAS office to arrange a site visit.
